40 million Americans go online first in search of science news

20%, or 40 million Americans, rely on the internet as their primary source for news and information about science, according to a new 42 page (phew) report from Pew Internet & American Life Project.

Television is cited by 41%, while newspapers and magazines are each cited by 14% as their main sources for news.
